What happens when I book a service on Escargo?
You tell Escargo what your vehicle needs and where you are, pick a verified provider from the live directory, and book. Any deposit the business asks for is shown before you confirm, never after. Start on the Escargo front door
Is Escargo free to use?
Escargo Drive is free to use, and signing in needs no payment details. Where a fee would ever apply, it is shown as its own line before any payment step, never merged into a price. Open Escargo Drive
What does tracking show me?
Tracking is a secure link, with no app and no password. A recovery tracker shows your pickup, your destination and the latest status confirmed by the recovery company. Escargo never shows a made-up location or price, and continuous live driver location is not enabled yet. How tracking works
How do recovery requests work?
You tell Escargo what is wrong and where you are. The request goes to a verified recovery company, the price is confirmed before any work begins, and you then track them to you. Get roadside help
How do community parking reports work?
A driver who is leaving a campus space publishes an anonymous report. It says Recently reported available, expires after about 4 minutes, and never names anyone. Open campus parking
Does a parking report reserve a space for me?
No. A report is never a reservation and never a guarantee — it means another driver said they were leaving. No space is ever reserved or guaranteed through Escargo Parking. Campus parking communities
Can I book and pay for parking through Escargo?
Not yet. Escargo has no authorised booking integration with any parking operator today, so nothing can be booked or paid for through Escargo. What works now: finding car parks, confirmed information where it exists, directions to the right vehicle entrance, and direct links to operators who sell prebooking themselves. Find parking
What does the trip planner do?
It plans a route with real distance and traffic from the live routing provider, estimates fuel or charging cost and tolls, adds stops, and can split the cost between passengers. Every estimate shows its assumptions. Plan a trip
Does Escargo give turn-by-turn navigation?
No. Escargo shows the route and hands off to your own maps app for navigation — it does not provide turn-by-turn directions itself. Open the trip planner
What does the dashboard light guide tell me?
For each warning light: what it means, how serious it is, what is safe to do and what never to do. Stop-now warnings always lead with getting safe, and Escargo gives no repair steps for them. Your vehicle handbook always takes precedence. Open the dashboard light guide
Where do the places in Nearby come from?
Every listing shows its source. Escargo places are recorded by Escargo; discovery results come from Google and are labelled as such. Fuel, air and charging points are public facilities — clearly labelled, not Escargo partners. Open Nearby
Who appears in Escargo search results?
Approved Escargo businesses only — verified garages, mechanics and recovery providers, ranked over the live directory. When no provider is listed for a service yet, Escargo says so instead of padding the list. Search the directory
