Straight answers
Is Escargo available in Ireland?
Yes. Escargo is built for Ireland. NCT rather than MOT, euro pricing, Irish counties. It is onboarding its founding businesses now, starting in the North East and Greater Dublin, and expanding as more businesses join.
Does Escargo do online bookings?
Yes. Each business on Starter, Business or Pro gets a booking page, a booking link and a QR code for its website, Google Business Profile and socials. The business controls services, deposits, staff, notice periods and daily capacity, so customers only see slots that are genuinely available.
Can customers track their repair?
Yes. A job can issue a secure tracking link. The customer sees the current stage, the latest message, the work they have approved and the balance due. The link never exposes internal notes or staff details.
Can I take payments through Escargo?
Yes, deposits, payment links and full payments, recorded against the job. An Escargo card machine and Tap to Pay on a phone are coming soon. Cash and your own terminal keep working and carry no Escargo fee.
Does Escargo offer vehicle recovery?
Yes. Garages and customers request recovery and collection through Escargo, and recovery operators on the platform receive those jobs. Recovery tools are included in Pro today. Coverage grows as operators join.
Can I use Escargo without a public listing?
Yes. A private workshop runs its diary, jobs, parts and invoices on Escargo and keeps its profile private or unlisted. Visibility is a setting, not a price.
